We are posting this story to give you a State of the Union progress report on our launch here in Fort Lauderdale. This is our second launch in what will eventually be city-by-city launches across the country. Our initial pilot launch was in the Morristown, NJ nightlife district which is where we are based. We learned a lot and now we are ready to bring those lessons and that knowledge to Fort Lauderdale and then Miami. This unique concept is over 7 years in the making. We are ready to change the way people meet in nightlife while ending approach anxiety and possible rejection for all!
So here is the latest. Today is only Day 61 of our Soft Launch here in Lauderdale and we have had 1,548 downloads as of today.That's with us spending less than $100 a day on Instagram Ads. Next up is our major launch where we will spend thousands and thousands of dollars over the summer months to increase our base of users TWENTY-FOLD. The goal with our marketing strategies is to get a 50%/50% split of female and male users. We were told by our marketing company that we would be launching this past weekend but there will be a minor delay as we tweak the plan to more effectively market the singles who frequent the Lauderdale nightlife and beach scene. We now anticipate launch by next weekend June 28 at the latest.

How does the digyoo app work?

Create a profile and then swipe on profiles of people on the app that you like and who are there at your gym when you are. Profiles will ONLY show people who are within 4,000 feet of you - although you can extend the distance to 6,000 feet - enough distance for any size gym.
Once there is a match you can send a message and instantly meet or set a time to meet after your workout. Grab a smoothie and see if sparks fly! If you have a busy day and can't meet right then and there just message your match at home and set up a time and date that works for both of you! Don't click? - then just remember there are other gym days and other matches to come!
How is this different than any other dating site?
With internet dating, you finally set up a date only to find out the person is extremely different in person – older/heavier/photo filters have misled – it’s dating false advertising! You have also wasted weeks corresponding with messages/texts and phone calls that resulted in a non-match. That’s why in a lot of cases you still see people on these sites month after month, year after year. It just takes too much time between match and meet up. This won’t happen with digyoo.
Presently, let's say you see someone that you are attracted to at the gym. You want to approach, but fear sets in, and your heart starts racing! USER EXAMPLE:
Let’s take the example of Connor who works out at his local gym four to five times a week.
Connor heads to his gym on a Thursday night. During a break in his workout he opens up the digyoo app, which shows everyone in the gym who has downloaded the digyoo app and has created a profile. The app also has just basic info about the person, including pictures. At least one close-up face and full body picture is a requirement of the app. All pictures get reviewed and must be tasteful and classy, or they will be rejected.
So Connor swipes on the profiles of girls who are at the gym right then and there. When he likes someone he swipes right and when girls at the gym like his profile they swipe right on his profile. When there is a mutual match Connor gets a ringtone text saying he has a match! Connor then sends a message and asks if he can by and say hello or asks to chat in the gym lounge when both are done with their workouts. His match Emma replies, “You can come over and say hi now, I am at the leg press machine!"
